AIM

The aim of this publication is to:

a. Provide a template for a Memorandum of Understanding relating to establishment of a Multinational Medical Unit (MMU) to allow for rapid implementation and standardization between participating nations.

b. Provide a template for a Memorandum of Understanding to allow the lead nation to seek financial compensation via the NATO Common Funding process, as well as agreeing upon the Lead Nation responsibilities.

c. Provide planning considerations and sample unit standard operating procedures in the form of an Aide Memoire in order to facilitate Lead Nation planning and preparation for the deployment of a MMU
