This Standard specifies requirements for an air drying, general service gloss fishing paint. The paint is suitable for both interior and exterior use and may be used with an appropriate priming paint on prepared andor pre-treated ferrous, non ferrous and wooden substrates. Except for specific components requiring distinctive colours as detailed in Def Stan 03-32 Part 11, the material is not intended for painting MOD vehicles or ground support equipment, in such cases a system complying with the requirements Def Stan 80-209 shall be specified
