scope:

This standard deals with the construction of components made of plain or reinforced concrete of dense structure, which is applied by spraying and compacting in one operation.

This standard also covers the use of sprayed concrete and polymer modified concrete and mortar applied by the spraying and compaction method for repairing and strengthening components.

This standard does not cover:

- the application of plaster by spraying (cf. DIN 18350);

- sprayed concrete work for supporting underground construction works (as dealt with in DIN 18312).

Clauses 1 to 5 of DIN 18299 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
