scope:
This standard deals with work to preserve and repair plain or reinforced concrete structures or elements, including surface protection systems.
This standard does not cover:
- the construction of components made of plain or reinforced concrete which is applied by spraying (cf. DIN 18314),
- the construction of concrete elements or units (cf. DIN 18331), or
- the surface treatment of structures and elements (cf. DIN 18363).
DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
