Purpose of This Notice. This notice amends Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Order JO 7930.2, Notices to Airmen (NOTAM), with new NOTAM procedures and policy. The Central Region has published a Central Region Airport Certification Bulletin Number 2011-4, Repainting SPHPS and NOTAMs. This notice addresses the changes in Certification Bulletin Number 2011-4 and provides NOTAM examples for runway visual range (RVR). This policy allows for an exception to Paragraph 1-2-3, Avoidance of Duplication, when a NOTAM is required by a Certificate of Waiver.
