scope:
This Standard specifies requirements for photo and film luminaires (non-professional) (hereafter referred to as "luminaires") for use with tungsten filament lamps on supply voltages not exceeding 250 V, including low-pressure tungsten halogen lamps complying with unique lamp designation.
NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
IEC 60598-2-9 : 1987 Luminaires. Part 2 : Particular requirements. Section Nine - Photo and film luminaires {non professional} and Amendment 1 : 1993 (MOD)
In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/IEC Guide 21-1.
