This specification covers high grade, air-drying enamels made from an alkyd resin and is intended for use on primed interior surfaces. It is characterized by excellent color and gloss retention, good drying, freedom from aftertack, and good flexibility. This enamel is a non-lead, non-chromate, and non-asbestos material. The dried paint film has been tested to U.S. EPA standards and the paint debris is, as of the time of this specification, a non-hazardous waste. This enamel has been formulated to comply with air pollution regulations which allow a maximum VOC of 250 grams of solvent minus water per liter of paint (2.08 lb/gal) as delivered. This product is not to be thinned for all means of application. The enamel may be applied with brush, roller, or spray.
