This standard identifies the minimum job performance requirements (JPRs) for Marine Fire Fighting for Land-Based Fire Fighters.
Purpose. The purpose of this standard is to specify the minimum job performance requirements for service as a Marine Fire Fighting for Land-Based Fire Fighters.
This standard shall define Marine Fire Fighting for Land-Based Fire Fighters.
The intent of the standard shall be to ensure that personnel serving as Marine Fire Fighting for Land-Based Fire Fighters are qualified.
This standard shall not address organization/ management responsibility.
It is not the intent of this standard to restrict any jurisdiction from exceeding or combining these minimum requirements.
Job performance requirements are the tasks personnel shall be able to perform to carry out the job duties.
Marine Fire Fighting for Land-Based Fire Fighters shall remain current with the general knowledge and skills and JPRs addressed in the level of qualification.
