Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Massenverlusts von Kaffee-Extrakt durch Trocknung im Vakuum-Trockenschrank fest.

Die Bestimmung des Massenverlusts (Feuchtegehaltes) nach dieser Norm kann für pulverförmigen entkoffeinierten und nicht entkoffeinierten Kaffee-Extrakt angewendet werden.

Unter Kaffee-Extrakten im Sinne dieser Norm werden sprühgetrocknete, agglomerierte und gefriergetrocknete Kaffee-Extrakte verstanden.

Das Verfahren ist nicht für flüssige oder pastöse Kaffee-Extrakte geeignet.
