scope:

This Standard specifies the calculation method of the basic dynamic load rating, basic static load rating and basic rating life for the design and use of ball splines of Type AI, Type All and Type R. It also establishes the basic dynamic torque rating and the basic static torque rating for these ball splines.

NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.

In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/lEC Guide 21-1.
