Scope: | This inst ruction appl ies to all military personnel who practice law or provide legal services under the cognizanc e and supervision of the Judge Advocate General, and to all other military personnel assigned to the Office of the Judge Advocate General (OJAG) or Naval Legal Service Command (NLSC) . Reference (a) provides procedures related t o recruitment, internships, a nd selection o f applicants for commissioning in the JAG Corps under the Student Program and Direct Appo intment Program. To ens ure that t he JAG Corps continues to att rac t high quality officers, JAG Corps personnel actively assist Commander, Navy Recruiting Command rec ruiting efforts. All judge advocates , Legalmen, and other des ignated military personnel are a part o f this miss i on. This ins tructi on is intended to b e a l awful general order and e f fective without further implementation. Violations of this inst ruc tion are s ubj ect to disc i p linar y action under the Uniform Code of Military Jus tice. Purpose. To issue revised policies and procedures related to fraternization in the Navy Judge Advocate General ' s (JAG) Corps recruiting program. |
