This AD 2000-Merkblatt applies to the calculation, Design,material and construction of piping as specified in the Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/EC), made of glass reinforced thermosetting plastics based on unsaturated polyester, epoxy and phenacrylate resins (UP-,EP- and PHA- resins); (phenacrylate resins are called vinyl ester resins internationally).The piping can be fitted or not with liners.If other reinforcing or matrix materials are used, this AD 2000-Merkblatt may be applied as appropriate.
