This part of the lEC 60320 sets the general requirements for appliance couplers for two poles 139 and two poles with earth contact and for the connection of electrical devices for household 140 and similar onto the mains supply. 141 This standard is also valid for appliance inlets/appliance outlets integrated or incorporated in 142 appliances. 143 The rated voltage is not exceeding 250 V (ac) and a rated current not exceeding 16 A.
