This Defence Standard specifies requirements for military diesel fuel, F-54. It is primarily intended for land service use in Central Europe and where mean ambient temperatures down to approximately minus 15ºC may be encountered. The fuel may be stored for long periods and distributed through systems which include fine filters and coalescers.
