These Tanks While Nominally Called 'Storage" Tanks, Are Not Necessarily So Limited in Actual Use

Purpose

This Specification Is Intended to Provide the Chemical Industry and Other Users with Aluminium-Alloy Tanks of Adequate Safety and Economical Design for The Containment of Fluids Stored or Handled Within the Design Limits of Pressure and Temperature (See 1.3). It Does Not Present, Nor Is It Concerned with Establishing, A Fixed Series of Allowable Tank Sizes: It Is Not Intended to Limit the Size, Design, Alloy, Or Construction of Other Tanks Not Conforming to These Specifications.
