PREFACE
The standards set forth herein apply to the fifth edition of the Standard for Gas Clothes Dryers, Volume II, Type 2 Clothes Dryers, ANSI Z21.5.2-1979, and Addenda thereto, Z21.5.2a-1981, and supersede corresponding standards therein. Following their preparation by the supervising subcommittee, they were accepted by American National Standards Committee Z21 and subsequently approved as American National Standard by the American National Standards Institute, Inc.
