PREFACE
The standards set forth herein apply to the seventh edition of the Standard for Gas Clothes Dryers, Volume II, Type 2 Clothes Dryers, ANSI Z21.5.2-1995, and supersede corresponding standards therein. Following their preparation by the supervising subcommittee, they were accepted by Accredited Standards Committee 221 and subsequently approved as an American National Standard by the American National Standards Institute, Inc.
