This standatd applies to incandescent lamps fot general lighting service which comply with the requirements in IEC publication 432 Safety Requirements for Tungsten Filament Lamps for Domestic and Similar Genetal Lighting Pmposes, and having

a nominal life of 1000 h

a rated wattage of 25 W to 200 W, inclusive

a rated voltage of 100 V to 250 V, inclusive (if marked with a voltage range, not exceeding ±25% of the mean voltage)

Note - In countries in the process of changing from 220 V to 230 V nominal supply voltage, a range of ±35% is temporarily accepted

bulbs pear shaped or mushroom shaped,

bulbs finished clear or internally frosted,

caps B22d or E27
