1 Scope

This coating system may be specified as a water aluminum-filled ceramic slurry basecoat (Code C) and may be followed by a modified organic topcoat (Code A, D or E) or an inorganic chromate phosphate topcoat (Code B) depending on service temperatures and corrosion protection. Refer to Table 1 and Table 2 for maximum peratures and various levels of corrosion When coatings are spray applied the suffix will include an S to indicate a spray application.
