この規格は，主として自動車のボデー及び部品の金属面上に装飾及び防食の目的で施した塗装の品質につい て規定する。ただし，以下のものは本規格の適用範囲から除く。
（1） 耐熱，耐酸，防音，潤滑油系内面など特殊な用途で施す塗装。
（2） パネル合せ面，箱形構造内面など正常に塗れない特殊な面への塗装。
