この規格は、次の場合を除き、装飾と防食の目的のため、自動車車体や部品の金属表面に塗装仕上げをカバーしています：

（1）このような潤滑システムの表面内部熱抵抗、耐酸性、防音、などとして、特別な目的のためにペイント

（2）このようなパネルフィット表面などと、箱状の部品の表面内部に特殊部品、、上の塗料は、塗料で表面を仕上げることは困難である場合

（3）プロセス間腐食を防止するためペイント

（4）メッキプラスチックにペイント

This standard covers paint finishes on the metal surfaces of automotive bodies and parts, for the purposes of decoration and corrosion protection, except the following:

(1) Paint for special purposes, such as thermal resistance, acid resistance, soundproofing, inside surfaces of lubricating system, etc.

(2) Paint on special parts, such as panel fitted surfaces and inside surfaces of box-shaped parts, where finishing surface with paint is difficult

(3) Paint for the purpose of preventing corrosion between processes

(4) Paint on plated plastics
