This Defence Standard specifies requirements for one grade (AL-41) of fuel system icing inhibitor (FSII) intended for use in aviation turbine fuels.

FSII provided to this Standard shall possess satisfactory performance and properties when used in appropriate aircrafl and/or gas turbine engines operated by the Ministry of Defence or other Government Departments.
