This standard relates to the following types of precision instrument, rotating, servo components; motors, controls ac (servomotors), servomotor servo components for use in fire control systems, radar, navigational aids, guided missiles and other similar applications.
This document does not necessarily embrace all the test requirements and/or severities appropriate for every possible military application of servo components. It is, in all cases, the responsibility of the user to ensure that the requirements stated in these documents are adequate for his intended application.
