MODUK - DEF STAN 61-12: PART 25

Wires, Cords, and Cables, Electrical Metric Units Part 25: Cables, Electrical Limited Fire Hazard, up to Size 2.5sq mm Cross-Sectional Area

inactive
Organization: MODUK
Publication Date: 29 June 1990
Status: inactive
Page Count: 45
scope:

The cables detailed herein use insulated cores complying with Table I of Def Stan 61-12 (Part 18) type 1 or type 2 and the sheathing material complies with Def Stan 61-12 (Part 31). They present a limited fire hazard cable, producing limited levels of noxious fumes, smoke and corrosive products when burnt.

Cables listed in the tables of Section A of this Defence Standard have a colour coding system that does not comply with the IEE Wiring Regulations, 15th Edition. Attention is therefore drawn to Clause 12-5 of the IEE Wiring Regulations.

Cables listed in the tables of Section B of this Defence Standard have a colour coding system that does comply with the IEE Wiring Regulations 15th Edition.
