PREFACE
The standards set forth herein apply to the first edition of the Standard for Manually Operated Gas Valve for Appliances, Appliance Connector Valves and Hose End Valves, ANSI Z21.15-1997 CSA 9.1-M97, and supersede corresponding standards therein. Following their preparation by the supervising subcommittee, they were accepted by ANSI and the Interprovincial Gas Advisory Council and subsequently approved.
