This specification relates to the general requirements for capacitors, fixed, electrolytic. It is to be used in conjunction with the Detail Specifications, enumerated in Claus 2(b) below, which give details of dimensions, ratings, values and other requirements peculiar to specific ranges of standards. It is primarily intended for components for use in Service equipment but users of components for other purposes are invited to adopt it.
