This specification relates to polyvinyl alcohol, Type QX, suitable for use in the preparation of lacquers, polyvinyl alcohol, for fuzeheads.

NOTE: The designation 'Type QX' indicates that the material is of a quality suitable for application where a high degree of compatibility with explosives is required. However, its compatibility with all explosives in all environments has not been established and Design Authorities should seek advice on particular applications from the Director, Propellants Explosives and Rocket Motor Establishment, Waltham Abbey.
