PURPOSE. The purpose of this Directive is to establish the responsibilities and procedures for obtaining Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) Information Technology (IT) services provided by the Office of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Center Operations (CO) Directorate. These services include Desktop Computer Services, Server Systems, LAN Services, IT Support Services, Applications and Web Services, and IT Procurement Services. For other IT services offered by the Office of the CIO, refer to MPD 2800.1, Appendix B for governing documents.
APPLICABILITY. This Directive is applicable to all MSFC organizations, all MSFC support contractors, and other supporting organizations regardless of location.
