scope:
This specification covers prefabricated fan-coil assemblies for use in conjunction with a chilled water system for air conditioning spaces on board Naval surface ships.
The fan-coil assemblies should be of the following types, sizes, and capacities, as specified (see 6.2):
Type II - Three section unit consisting of a cooling coil section, fan-motor section, and air distribution plenum section. Type III - Two section unit consisting of a cooling coil section and fan-motor section.
