The fan-coil assembly is intended for use in lieu of a fan room on board ship. It is designed for ready connection to a chilled water system, a drainage system, an air distribution system and power source. The belt drive for the centrifugal fan is intended to permit selection of capacity to fit application depending on the use or extent of duct work required and to keep within noise limitations. The adjustable motor pulley is specified to permit ready selection of fan speed to fit specific application. When the installation and selection of fan speed have been made, a fixed sheave should be substituted for the adjustable pulley to prevent unauthorized changing of fan speed.
