This specification relates to a two-pack, cold-curing, zinc or strontium chromate primer for the protection of suitably prepared non-ferrous surfaces. It is intended for use with finishing and undercoat paints complying with TS 50086. A system comprising of one coat of primer, one coat of undercoat and two coats of finishing paint is expected to have a durability of at least four years in temperate climates or two years in tropical climates.
