This Part of the Standard gives a list of paint, lacquer and varnish finishes used as protective coatings. The list is divided into sections on pre-treatment primers and sealers, primers, finishing paints, paint systems, lacquers and varnishes. DTD paints included in the list are restricted to those which find uses for purposes other than aircraft.
