This specification covers the requirements for the design, test, and manufacture of a High Speed, Digital Data Printer, TT-624(V)/UG, hereinafter referred to as the printer. The printer will generate and output hard copy of alphanumeric characters and special symbols in response to internally generated automatic signals, manually operated maintenance and operator controls, and input digital data and control signals from central processing devices, and other peripheral devices such as magnetic tape units, display units, and communication systems.
intended Use:
The printer covered by this specification is intended for use in the Navy modular automated communication system for shipboard and shore-base use.
