This specification covers austenitic chromium-nickel alloy castings for corrosion-resistant and low magnetic permeability applications (see 6.1).
Corrosion-resistant steel castings shall be of the following grades and types, as specified (see 6.2). Grades are as specified in ASTM A 744.
Grades CF-8 CF-8C CF-8M Types I - No magnetic restrictions II - Low relative magnetic permeability
intended Use:
