This Marshall Work Instruction (MWI) provides instructions pertaining to the implementation of equipment accountability and control at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).

APPLICABILITY. The provisions of this MWI shall be applicable to all personnel who Installation-provided property and/or are engaged in equipment accountability within MFSC, including onsite and near-site civil service and contractor personnel when contractually specified. Onsite or near-site accountable contractors shall have separate procedures governing the control of Government property as specified in their contract and shall be required to comply with provisions of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR 45.5).
