scope:

PURPOSE. To provide a clear statement of how to implement NPD 2190.1, "NASA Export Control Program" (Yellow Book), and MPD 2190.1, "MSFC Export Control Program," by prescribing procedures and guidelines for compliance with the United States (U.S.) Export Policies and Regulations at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC).

APPLICABILITY. This Marshall Procedures and Guidelines (MPG) applies to all MSFC organizations that send or transmit hardware, software, technology, or technical information to destinations outside the U.S. or to a "Foreign Person" or entity within the U.S. This MPG does not apply to the filing of foreign patent applications. Foreign patent applications are processed through the Office of Chief Counsel.
