The aim and function of this document is to outline NATO Psychological Operations (PSYOPS) doctrine, to highlight its role as a force multiplier and combat reducer in support of the commander across the spectrum of conflict, and to describe its place in supporting the achievement of NATO goals and objectives. It is focused primarily for use by PSYOPS practitioners at the operational level and below. However, it prescribes actions to be taken at all levels.
