scope:
a. This notice is a supplement to officer assignment policies issued by references (a) and (b). This is the primary source document containing pertinent guidance for screening and assigning drilling junior Supply Corps Reserve Officers to billets within Commander, Naval Air Reserve Force (COMNAVAIRESFOR) claimancy.
b. All senior Supply Corps Officers (05 and above) assigned within COMNAVAIRESFOR will continue to be assigned billets via selection boards held by local Naval Air Reserve (NAVAIRES) activities.
c. No other modifications or deviations to the procedures issued by this notice are authorized without written approval from COMNAVAIRESFOR before the board's convening date.
Purpose. To issue fair, equitable, and standardized procedures for the screening and assignment of Drilling Reserve Supply Corps Officers at the rank of LCDR and below to billets within Air Reserve units.
