This specification covers a solid state regulator utilizing electronic devices to regulate the voltage and current of the 2 8 volt (V), direct current (dc) generator (see 6.1).

The solid state regulators are of the types listed below:

Type I - Regulator (Drawing 11631857) to operate with 28 V, 25 ampere (A), dc generator. Type II - Regulator (Drawing 12257823) to operate with 28 V, 300 A, dc generator. Type III - Regulator (Drawing 11672403) to operate with 28 V, 300 A, dc generator.
