This Section of the Code provides the requirements for the design, construction, fabrication, inspection, testing and quality assurance of high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter and Type II (tray type) adsorber cell mounting frames used in nuclear safety related air and gas treatment systems.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this Section of the Code is to ensure that HEPA filter and Type II adsorber cell mounting frames used in nuclear safety-related air and gas treatment systems are acceptable in all aspects of design and fabrication.
