This specification establishes the formulation and manufacturing requirements for a uranine coated paper disc that is used with the Model No. MK II Free Water Detector, MIL-D-81227, or with MIL-D-22612 Detector, Contaminated Fuel (see 6.1).
The free water detector pads covered by this specification shall be of the following sizes (see 6.2):
