The present document covers the support of additional traffic parameters for the Broadband Integrated Services Digital Network (B-ISDN) at the T B reference point or coincident S B and T B reference point as defined in ITU-T Recommendation I.413 by means of the Digital Subscriber Signalling System No. two (DSS2) protocol for the pan-European Broadband Integrated Services Digital Network (B-ISDN) as provided by European public telecommunication operators. It defines the DSS2 protocol procedures, formats and functions needed to support the identified ATM transfer capabilities and the ATM traffic related additional capabilities.
