scope:
This specification covers lightweight electrical cables for Navy shipboard applications.
Cables covered by this specification shall be classified as watertight, non-watertight and non-watertight with circuit integrity constructions, armored and unarmored, unarmored with overall shield, and further classified for power, control, communications, instrumentation and electronic applications, as specified in 1.2.1 through 1.2.3 (see 6.2.1).
