Rotating electrical machines - Part 2: Methods for determining losses and efficiency of rotating electrical machinery from tests (excluding for traction vehicles) - Measurement of losses by the calorimetric method
inactive, Most Current
| Organization: | DS |
| Publication Date: | 1 January 1975 |
| Status: | inactive |
| ICS Code (Rotating machinery in general): | 29.160.01 |
scope:
The standard describes methods to determine the efficiency of electrical rotating machines either by determination of the total losses on load or by determination of the segregated losses for air and water cooling mediums. Note. - Methods of loss determination have been devised mainly for large generators, but the principles used can also be applied to other machines.
