This specification establishes the design, development, performance, and test requirements for the remotely controlled transmitter antenna switching matrix group (hereinafter referred to as the equipment) consisting of a radio frequency (RF) switch matrix and a remote control unit. The matrix is used to interconnect transmitters and antennas in a submarine communications system and shall operate over a frequency range of direct current (DC) to 400 megahertz (MHz).
