Hose Types
These requirements cover Type I, Type II and Type III Hose used f o r the transfer or conducting of Propane and Natural Gas.
Type I Hose refers to hose w i t h a MAXIMUM operating pressure of 350 psig (2.4 MPa) and a MINIMUM burst pressure of 1750 psig (12.1 MPa ) .
Type II and Type III Hose refers to stainless steel braid reinforced hose designed with a MAXIMUM operating pressure of 350 psig (2.4 MPa) and a MINIMUM burst pressure.
Units of Measure
This standard contains SI (Metric) equivalents to the yard/pound quantities, the purpose being to allow the standard to be used in SI (Metric) units.
