This Standard covers asbestos cement (AC) pipe and pipe fittings, for use in drainage, waste and vent systems inside buildings and for building drains, and rain water leaders for roof drainage.
These requirements include specifications for materials, workman-ship, dimensions, flexural strength, crushing strength and joint tightness. Methods of marking ot indicate compliance with these requriments are included.
This Standard makes frequent reference to CGSB Standard 34-gp-22M, Pipe, Asbestos-Cement, Drain, which is hereinafter referred to as CGSB Standard 34-GP-22M.
