scope:

General.- This specification contains the requirements which, in combination with other applicable specifications, define the ground tests required for structural evaluation of fixed wing piloted airplanes. The types of testing include, but are not limited to:

(a) Static tests.

(b) Drop tests of structurally complete airframes,

(c) Elevated temperature tests,

(d) Repeated load tests. Cabin pressure tests,

(e) Cabin pressure tests,

(f) Leakages tests of integral fuel tanks.

intended Use:

The requirements of this specification shall be used for the structural substantiation of airplanes.
