This specification gives guidance in the selection of corrosion resisting steels for use with H.T.P. Precautions to be taken during manufacture are described and the surface treatment of fabricated parts is laid down. The specification applies generally to all surfaces in an equipment which come in contact with H.T.P. liquid and its associated vapour up to the region in the equipment where decomposition becomes acceptable.
