This European standard defines and gives terms, requirements marking criteria for ceramic tiles (produced by extrusion and dust pressing techniques) of the first commercial quality. Tiles not first commercial quality are also covered following the provisions of annex Q. This European Standard does not cover tiles made by other than the normal commercial processes of extrusion or dry pressing (se 3.7). Note: ISO 10545 describes the test procedures required to determine the product charateristics listed in ISO 13006. ISO 10545 is divided into parts each describing a specific test procedure of related matter.
